Our mission is to bring our love for horses into the hearts of new and developing riders. We strive to develop and guide a fresh and insatiable hunger for the equine arts in our riders, whether child or adult, and to encourage rider independence and balance. 
But our focus is not on rider enjoyment alone. We work hard to instill the foundational elements of Harmony, Function and Form in the rider’s instinct, that they may grow independently of the trainer and in perfect harmony with their horse.
At Austin Tri-Star, we feel that the horse is a reflection of those qualities that we wish to instill in our own person; strength, grace, beauty, and empathy, and as such is the case, we feel that they should be treated with the respect that such qualities invoke. Our horses are allowed to be horses. As the eminent horseman of Greece, Xenophon, once wrote, “A horse is a thing of beauty… none will tire of looking at him as long as he displays himself in his splendor.”
